ABOUT US:
We have built Hound Hill Stables from the ground up, placing each board and setting each post with their own two hands. The barn and facilities are always improving and making sure each horse and rider is happy and safe.
Olivia, Owner and Barn Manger, CHA Equine Facility Manager- Level 4
Olivia grew up in Northwest Arkansas riding and showing hunt-seat on Arabians and Thoroughbreds as a junior. She received many awards and championships in both Arabian breed shows as well as open Hunter/Jumper shows. As an adult she had opportunities to explore other disciplines in working student positions including polo, fox hunting, jumpers, dressage, and eventing; but she has always loved the classic hunter. These experiences allowed her to learn more about riding, training, and also how to manage and care for horses.
In 2008 Olivia and her husband moved to Rolla Missouri purchasing their own farm to develop for horses. In 2010 she traveled to Oregon to be tested in the Certified Horsemanship Association's Equine Facility Manager Program. She tested at the highest level, qualified as general manger of a commercial equine operation greater than 35 head and with five or more employees. Currently Olivia is managing the horses at Hound Hill Stables.
In 2018 Olivia and Raz welcomed a new addition to the farm, their daughter Albertine "Bertie" Kerwin. In true equestrian fashion Bertie took her first ride at 3 days old.
